What Cathy's Reading

If anybody needs some book club ideas, here's some things that we've (well, actually Cathy) enjoyed lately:

We Need to Talk About Kevin: A Novel (P.S.) This was a novel about a school shooter, written as a series of letters by the mother of the kid to her husband. Very interesting take! I liked this so much I picked up The Post-Birthday World: A Novel (P.S.) by the same author. It was about once decision about the main character made- to cheat on her husband and kiss his friend, or not. Each chapter outlines what happens for each choice- if she did or didn't. I loved how it was written!

The Pimp of Relativistic Cosmology and Statistical Mechanics. (No, it's not Kirk. Yet.)

To further contribute to our rock star life reputation, Kirk spent the past few nights playing with five sets of double nine dominoes.
Behold the result: Einstein, our friendly father of relativity and
E=mc2- immortalized in dominoes, as every scientist dreams.

Want to make your our own? Okay!

What We're Reading This Week

Click on the links to read more about the books we're reading this week!

Cathy is reading Forever and Ever, Amen by Sister Karol Jackowski. She can hardly put it down, and thinks Linda should suggest it for book club!

Kirk is reading Robot Building For Beginners by David Cook. Cathy is afraid that soon the dining room table will be filled with robot building supplies, although if he can design one that will clean the house, she won't complain...much.

Jeremy is reading Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn.
